A special "Thank You" to the Tempe Housing Services Division and its Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) Program for their participation in the What Housing Means to Me Poster Contest.  Tempe was represented by seven children who designed posters for the contest.

The posters were judged by a committee of volunteers comprised of Elizabeth Morales, Karen Pierce, Julie Bosshart and Peggy Mangum.  Thanks to these four ladies for volunteering their time and enthusiasm to the project.

Prizes were awarded to three winners - two in the Elementary division and one in Middle School division.  The winners each received a savings bonds in the amount of $50 and their posters were sent to NAHRO in Washington D.C. for inlcusion in the national contest.  Pictures of the winning posters are below, although we have withheld the names of the children for obvious privacy reasons.

Congratulations to the winners!
